Rockport Music's Global Journeys Series Season #2

This fall kicks off my second season as curator of Rockport Music's  Global Journeys series. This September will feature my West African fusion band Balla Kouyaté & Mike Block Band. October is a collaboration between two acoustic string bands; Hawktail + Väsen. November the dynamic duo Larry & Joe melds Venezuelan folk traditions with Appalachian string band music, and in the Spring my new band Biribá Union takes the stage with Christylez Bacon (Beatbox, Guitar, Rhymes), and Patricia Ligia (Electric Bass, Pandeiro, Vocals)
